EyePoint Pharma down as eye drug misses main goal in mid-stage trial

** Shares of EyePoint Pharmaceuticals  EYPT.O  fall 31% to
$13.63 premarket
    ** Co says its experimental non-proliferative diabetic
retinopathy (NPDR) drug missed the primary goal of a mid-stage
trial 
    ** NPDR is an early-stage form of diabetic retinopathy,
which is an eye condition that can cause vision loss and
blindness in people who have diabetes
     ** Co says it plans to provide an update on the path
forward for the drug, Duravyu, as a potential treatment in NPDR
following a review of the full 12-month data
    ** Up to last close, stock down 14.6% YTD
