HANOI, March 10 (Reuters) - VietinBank CTG.HM , Vietnam's
second biggest bank by market value, said on Thursday it has
signed a $200-million syndicated loan with 18 foreign banks, led
by BNP Paribas BNPPZ.UL and Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank
FUBFNB.UL .
Other banks include Commerzbank AG CBKG.DE , State Bank of
India SBI.NS , BDO Unibank BDO.PS , Chang Hwa Commercial Bank
2801.TW , Taiwan Business Bank 2834.TW , Far Eastern
International Bank 2845.TW and Export-Import Bank of China
2544.HK .
The foreign currency loan will provide credit for
manufacturing and business activity at corporate clients,
VietinBank said in a statement on its website.
The statement did not disclose the term or the interest rate
of the deal.
