UK's FD Technologies soars on possible $723 million buyout

** Shares of data and analytics firm FD Technologies FDPF.L up 22.7% at 23.65 pounds, their highest level since May 2022

** Among top gainers across all London stocks

** Says it is in advanced talks with American private equity firm TA Associates over a possible acquisition offer, valuing the firm at 541.6 million pounds ($723.04 million)

** TA Associates proposed to buy FDPF at 24.50 pounds per share in late March

** Co says FDPF board was ready to recommend to shareholders if a formal offer was tabled

** Including session's gains, stock up ~22% YTD
