UK's Ferrexpo soars after US-Ukraine minerals deal

** Shares in Ukraine-focused miner Ferrexpo FXPO.L jump 20% to 70.7 pence

** Top gainer on the FTSE mid cap index .FTMC, which is up 0.8%

** Stock on track to post its best day since February 6, if gains hold

** Ukraine and U.S. sign deal, which will give U.S. preferential access to new Ukrainian minerals deals and fund investment in Ukraine's reconstruction

** Including session's gain, stock down 33.5% YTD
