** Tonic maker Fevertree Drinks FEVR.L up as much as 8.9% at 811p

** Reports annual profit a touch above market expectations as the tonic maker capitalised on growing demand for non-alcoholic drinks

** Posts 2024 adjusted core profit of 50.7 million pounds  ($65.44 million), vs analysts' expectations of 50.6 million pounds, as per a company-compiled poll

** Expects a "transition year" in 2025 for its U.S. business

** Extends buyback programme by an additional 29 million pounds

** As of last close, stock up ~105% YTD
