Italy - Factors to watch on June 7

The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

    ECONOMY 
    ISTAT releases April retail sales data (0800 GMT).
    OECD releases May composite leading indicator data (1000
GMT).
    
    DEBT
    Italy has raised 10.63 billion euros ($11.36 billion) in the
first two days of the offer of its new 'BTP Valore' bond, bourse
data showed on Tuesday, as Rome tries to increase private
Italians' holdings of the country's debt.
    Italy's Treasury said on Tuesday it would sell 6.5 billion
euros ($6.94 billion) in BOT bills at auction on June 9.
    Treasury continues offer of new 4-year 'Btp Valore', BTP
bond for retail investors only; ends on June 9, subject to early
closure.

    The Italian soccer club denies a Spanish media report that
it had informed Real Madrid and FC Barcelona them it was
dropping out of the failed Super League project following its

    The long-serving chief executive of Pirelli has warned that
the tyremaker's independence is at stake because of the growing
influence of its Chinese shareholder Sinochem  600500.SS , the

    Telecom Italia (TIM) awaits the moves of U.S. fund KKR
 KKR.N  and CDP-Macquarie  MQG.AX  in view of the June 9
deadline, set by the telephone group to send improved offers for
its fixed network and submarine cable unit Sparkle, two sources
close to the matter said on Tuesday.
