AGM Trading Update and Notice of Results

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of advanced RF solutions for the space, aerospace and defence and telecoms infrastructure markets, is pleased to provide the following update ahead of its Annual General Meeting being held at 11.00am today.

The start of FY2026 has seen continued progress, as the Company increases the scalability of the business and capitalises on its long-term growth opportunities. Filtronic has further strengthened its RF and system engineering teams, positioning the business to execute on the increased pipeline of technology and products that match the developing market opportunities that will drive growth over the next number of years.

Overall, the Group's healthy sales pipeline, increased customer engagement with both new and existing clients across key markets and robust order book leave Filtronic in a good position to meet market expectations for the full year, despite headwinds from weakness of the US dollar against sterling.

In August, Filtronic received its largest order to date from SpaceX, valued at over £47 million, for the Company's next-generation proprietary Gallium Nitride ("GaN") E-band product, the first major order utilising this technology. This builds on Filtronic's long heritage of E-band product incorporating Gallium Arsenide ("GaAs"), enabling more power and lower energy loss, which is critical to technological advancements in satellite communication. Collaboration between the two companies has also broadened into new areas which highlight the deepening of the relationship and the collaborative nature of this important partnership.

In July, the Company announced a £13.4 million contract with a leading European defence prime. Filtronic continues to see improved momentum in the defence market and expects further growth in this strategically important sector.

The Company has kept its focus on market relevant product and technology innovation, supported by a clear technology roadmap that ensures Filtronic remains at the leading edge of RF and mmWave innovation. The Company is targeting to launch a range of products based on its very high frequency GaN technology in calendar year 2026, designed to deliver world-leading power levels and performance and unlock space ground station opportunities that were previously unattainable with existing Solid State Power Amplifier ("SSPA") solutions.

Over the longer term, customers are expressing a growing need for high-frequency, secure, and resilient communications infrastructure across many platforms which provide the Group with supportive structural growth drivers across its key markets. We believe we have exciting products and capabilities to match this growing need.

Filtronic will announce its half-year results for the six months ended 30 November 2025 on 3 February 2026.
