** Shares of South Korea's defence-related firms surge after
North Korea early on Tuesday says it will close lines of
communication at an inter-Korean liaison office, and hotlines
between the two militaries and presidential offices as of noon

** Victek Co Ltd 065450.KQ and Huneed Technologies
005870.KS surge as much as 17.8% and 14.9%, respectively
** Other companies such as Speco 013810.KQ and Firstec Co
Ltd 010820.KS also jump as much as 13.3% and 9.9% each
** The benchmark KOSPI .KS11 is up 0.4%, while the junior
KOSDAQ .KQ11 is down 0.3% as of 0146 GMT
