Aug 20 (Reuters) - New Zealand's Fletcher Building FBU.NZ reported a 17% drop in its full-year underlying profit on Wednesday, weighed down by softer demand for its buildings materials and products.
The Auckland-based construction materials maker's group underlying net profit after tax came in at NZ$152 million ($89.59 million) for the year ended June 30, compared with NZ$183 million a year ago.
The result narrowly missed the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of NZ$153.4 million.
