VIENNA, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Vienna Airport VIEV.VI said on Tuesday that it would resume operations from 11 am local time (1000 GMT) after icy conditions forced it to close.
Flight departures would resume from 11 am local time, with arrivals to come in again from noon local time, a company spokesperson told Reuters.
Earlier on Tuesday, a thick layer of ice had formed on runways in Vienna and kept freezing up again after efforts to clear it, forcing the airport to divert flights to other airports.
