U.S. stock index futures inched lower on Wednesday ahead of an inflation reading
later in the week that would influence bets on when the Federal Reserve will
start cutting interest rates.  .N 
    
    At 7:02 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.31% at 38,896. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.32% at 5,073.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.38% at 17,953.
