Focusrite plc (AIM: TUNE), the global music and audio products company supplying hardware and software used by professional and amateur musicians and the entertainment industry, is pleased to confirm that, further to the Company's announcement of 1 September 2020, Sally McKone joins the Board today as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") with immediate effect.
Accordingly, the outgoing CFO, Jeremy Wilson, steps down from his role although he will stay with the Company until 19 March 2021 to ensure a seamless and orderly transition.
Phil Dudderidge, Executive Chairman, commented:
"On behalf of the Board and all our employees, I would like to welcome Sally to the team.  In our decision to appointment her, what stood out was her history of growing businesses, and we very much look forward to working with her as we continue our growth trajectory.
"We would also like to thank Jeremy for his considerable contribution since joining the Group prior to its IPO in 2014.  Jeremy has been instrumental in the success we have enjoyed to date.  His term as CFO has seen the company go public, grow considerably, expanding into new markets both organically and via acquisitions.  His achievements are greatly valued and we will miss him.  He leaves the business in a strong position, with a strategic growth plan in place, and depth in the Boardroom and wider management team to execute on that plan."
