Foghorn Therapeutics falls on discontinuing cancer drug trial

** Shares of Foghorn Therapeutics Inc FHTX.O fall ~3% to
$8.18
** Co says it does not plan to advance its drug candidate,
FHD-286, in a type of eye cancer after it fails to produce
statistically significant benefit in an early-stage study
** Out of 73 patients with metastatic uveal melanoma
evaluated in the study, nine patients showed stable disease and
one patient showed a reduction in tumor size or in the extent of
cancer in the body -FHTX
** Uveal melanoma is a rare cancer that begins in the cells
that make the dark-colored pigment, called melanin, in the wall
of the eye
** Co says it plans to initiate dosing in the FHD-286
combination study in relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukaemia
(AML) during Q3 2023
** Including session moves, stock up ~22% YTD
