Brief: Fon announces share buyback program

Oct 31 (Reuters) - Fon SA  FON.WA :     
    * Said on Thursday its General Meeting of Shareholders 
passed the resolution on share repurchase for retirement  
    * The company will buy back 15 million of own shares between 
Nov. 6 and Dec. 31 at 3.41 zlotys per share 
    * Said it allocated 51.2 million zlotys for the financing of 
the share buyback program 
    * Said shareholders who decide to sell their shares under 
company's share buyback program will be obliged to acquire 
company's shares of new issue in 2018
