Silver miners extend losses as dollar rebounds

** Shares of silver miners fall tracking a drop in prices of
the precious metal  GOL/ 
    ** Spot silver  XAG=  down 3.6% at $24.5/ounce as the dollar
rebounds and gold falls after scaling a record high earlier on
Monday on hopes of interest rate cut early next year  GOL/ 
    ** Firmer dollar makes metals more expensive for other
currency holders 
    ** Shares of Hecla Mining  HL.N  and Coeur Mining  CDE.N 
slip 3.3% and 2.2%, respectively
    ** Canadian miners Wheaton Precious Metals  WPM.TO , MAG
Silver  MAG.TO , First Majestic Silver  FR.TO , Fortuna Silver
Mines  FVI.TO  and Endeavour Silver  EDR.TO  drop between 1.9%
to 4.7%
