Australia's FOS Capital climbs as co acquires NZ-based peer

** Shares of lighting solutions provider FOS Capital
FOS.AX rise as much as 4.2% to A$0.250, marking their biggest
intraday percentage gain since Sept 15
** Co says its unit, FOS Lighting Pty, will acquire NZ-
based commercial lighting company, Ecopoint, for NZ$1.87 mln

** Says the transaction will comprise a cash consideration
of NZ$1.49 mln and NZ$380,000 in FOS shares
** Stock up ~22% since its debut on June 7
