Adds details, background, shares
Oct 23 (Reuters) - British real estate agency Foxtons FOXT.L warned on Thursday that fourth-quarter sales may fall below its expectations as UK's delayed autumn budget creates additional uncertainty, sending its shares down as much as 11%.
Foxtons said sales would be subdued for the rest of the year as macroeconomic uncertainty and speculation surrounding the budget forces some buyers to adopt a "wait and see" attitude to purchases.
Jitters around the budget are adding to woes of the British housing market, in which demand was already weighed down by slower-than-expected interest rate cuts, inflationary pressures and global economic uncertainty.
Foxtons shares fell as much as 11.2%, before recouping some losses to trade 7.8% lower at 52 pence by 0724 GMT.
