acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:

    ** Vitamin Shoppe owner Franchise Group Inc  FRG.O  said it
had received an unsolicited proposal to buy the company for $30

        ** The European Commission said it had cleared the
proposed acquisition by French telecom company Orange  ORAN.PA

        ** The trust banking arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial
Group  8306.T  will buy UK-based investment firm AlbaCore
Capital LLP as Japan's largest banking group aims to expand

        ** Maersk  MAERSKb.CO  has agreed to sell its offshore
marine service provider Maersk Supply Service to family-owned
holding company A.P. Moller Holding for $685 million, the Danish

    ** CF Industries Holdings  CF.N , the world's top ammonia
producer, will buy the U.S. manufacturing facility of
Australia's Incitec Pivot Ltd  IPL.AX  in a $1.68 billion deal,

    ** Norwegian independent oil and gas producer Okea  OKEA.OL 
said it had agreed to buy a 28% stake in Norway's Statfjord

    ** Australia's Alliance Aviation Services Ltd  AQZ.AX  said 
the country's competition regulator has delayed a review until
April 20 of the proposed acquisition of the charter operator by

    ** A subsidiary of New York Community Bancorp  NYCB.N  has
entered into an agreement with U.S. regulators to buy deposits

    ** Australian Clinical Labs  ACL.AX  offered to acquire
Healius  HLS.AX  through an all-share takeover, valuing the

acquire assets worth roughly $1.5 billion from Vietnam's biggest
