The Times

     - Chris Wootton, the chief financial officer of Frasers GroupFRAS.L has led attacks from business leaders on Rachel Reeves, accusing the chancellor of delivering an "absolute chaos" in her budget.

- Stagecoach, the biggest bus operator in the UK, is handing its legacy defined-benefit pension fund to AberdeenABDN.L, the asset manager, which will keep the scheme running, in a fund with about £1.2 billion of assets, and shoulder responsibility for meeting all its pension promises.

     - Versace has announced its creative director Dario Vitale  is leaving, less than nine months after taking on the role and two days after the deal to sell the brand to rival Italian fashion house Prada.

- The UK's financial regulator has decided not to immediately investigate Rachel Reeves and the Treasury over pre-budget briefings but left the door open for further examination of what the Conservatives claimed amounted to market manipulation.

     - Nigel Farage accused the BBC of "hypocrisy" after a Radio 4 presenter questioned allegations of racist behaviour during his school years, saying the corporation should apologise for airing shows such as the Black and White Minstrel Show in the 1970s and 80s.

     - Hundreds of UK online safety workers at TikTok have already signed agreements to leave the company despite the firm stressing to MPs that the cuts were "still proposals only".

- Bank of America's BAC.N chairman and chief executive Brian Moynihan has said countries have "got to be careful" with their budgets and ask themselves what a tax rise is for.
