Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 10 October 2016 it purchased 185,222 of its ordinary shares from Citigroup Global Markets Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 268.4 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. 
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 45,697,970 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 594,904,399.
