Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 11 October 2016 it purchased 152,081 of its ordinary shares from Citigroup Global Markets Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 286.6 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. 
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 45,850,051 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 594,752,318.
