Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 12 October 2016 it purchased 202,564 of its ordinary shares from Citigroup Global Markets Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 280.9 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. 
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 46,052,615 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 594,549,754.
