Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 13 October 2016 it purchased 115,846 of its ordinary shares from Citigroup Global Markets Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 276.6 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. 
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 46,168,461 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 594,433,908.
