Transaction in Own Shares
Sports Direct announces that on 24 April 2018 it purchased 33,692 of its ordinary shares from Liberum Capital Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 396.1093464 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, the Company holds 103,627,798 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 536,974,571.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), detailed information about the individual purchases made is set out below.
