Kazakhstan's Freedom Holding Corp has applied for French banking license, ready to invest €500 million ALMATY, June 3 (Reuters) - Kazakhstan's Freedom Holding Corp FRHC_KZ.KZ CEO Timur Turlov told Reuters on Wednesday it has applied for a French banking license and was ready to invest up to €500 million ($580.75 million) in the country over the next five years.
Freedom Holding Corp offers banking and brokerage services, primarily in Central Asian countries. In March, it said it was buying Turkish Bank.
