** Shares of Australia's Freelancer Ltd  FLN.AX  fall as
much as 2.4% to A$0.205
    ** Freelancing and crowdsourcing marketplace posts Q1 gross
merchandise value of A$31.5 mln ($20.46 mln), down 2.2% from the
same quarter last year
    ** Posts Q1 FY24 net cash receipts of A$13.2 mln, down 3.6%
VS Q1 FY23
    ** Co continues to optimise and extract cost efficiencies
across all functions of business - Freelancer
    ** Stock up 13.5% this year, as of last close
