** Shares of Freightways Group Ltd  FRW.NZ  rise as much as
3.7% to NZ$8.350, their biggest intraday pct gain since Jan 9 
    ** Stock hits highest level since Feb 9
    ** The freight firm posts HY non-GAAP EBITDA of NZ$119.5 mln
($73.30 mln), vs NZ$113.7 mln recorded last year 
    ** Records HY operating revenue of NZ$620.7 mln, vs NZ$552.1
mln last yr
    ** Co maintains last year's interim dividend of 18 NZ cents
per share     
    ** More than 101,209 shares change hands, twice the 30-day
average volume 
    ** Stock down 5.3% this year, as of last close
