Frontier Airlines cuts fourth-quarter earnings estimate to accommodate possible loss Oct 28 (Reuters) - Frontier Airlines ULCC.O cut its fourth-quarter earnings estimates to accommodate a range between a loss and a profit as rising fuel costs eat into margins and outpace gains made from higher fares.
The Denver-based airline expects to post adjusted earnings per share in the range of 15 cents to a profit of 5 cents. It had previously forecast fourth-quarter earnings per share in the range of breakeven to 20 cents.
