** Shares of U.S. budget airline Frontier Group ULCC.O down 1.4% at $5.68 after the bell

** Co announces the departure of longtime CEO Barry Biffle with immediate effect, will remain in an advisory position until December 31

** Appoints co's president, James Dempsey, as interim CEO; he has overseen the carrier’s commercial operations, customer care and planning since October 2023

** Co expects Q4 results to be in line with its previously issued forecast

** As of last close, stock down 19.3% YTD
