The Nasdaq rose on Friday as growth stocks ticked higher on lower Treasury
yields, even though resilient core inflation added to worries of big
interest-rate hikes denting a rise in consumer spending.  .N 
    At 13:07 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.32% at
29,131.15. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.04% at 3,641.79 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.42% at 10,783.028.
