Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Margins rise on Friday but close 2023 down nearly 9%

LONDON, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline
refining margins rose to about $8.59 a barrel in the year's
final session, down by around 8.6% from the final session of
2022.
    * Crack spreads rose by around 74 cents on the day on
Friday.
    * A total of 10,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 Argus gasoline
barges traded on Friday, at an average price of $719.25 a ton.
    * Liquidity in the Eurobob E10 market was higher at 14,000
tons
traded at an average price of around $717.50 a ton. 
    * Petroineos sold five premium unleaded barges to Trafigura
at an
average price of $777.50 a ton.
    * European gasoline exports to the U.S. are expected to
reach
787,000 tons in December according to shipping analytics firm
Kpler, up from 602,000 tons in November.
    * The continent's exports to Nigeria are set for a
month-on-month
dip however, to 535,000 tons from 680,000 tons in November. 
    * Gasoline stocks held in independent storage in the
Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub 
dropped by 6.5% in the week to 919,000 metric tons, data from
Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.
    * U.S. gasoline stocks  USOILG=ECI  fell by 669,000 barrels,
Energy Information Administration data showed on Thursday,
compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a
208,000-barrel rise.
