TOKYO, Nov 14 (Reuters) -
* Japan's Fuji Oil 5017.T said it had resumed normal
operations
at its power outage-hit 143,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Sodegaura
refinery, east of Tokyo, ahead of its last week's projection for
mid-December.
* The sole 143,000-bpd crude distillation unit (CDU) was
restarted
on Oct. 4, following the blackout on Oct. 1, caused by typhoon
Trami. The company, since then, had been restarting secondary
units. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL4N1XJ2T5
* The company last week projected the prolonged shutdown to
reduce
its operating profit by around 2 billion yen ($17.56 million)
due to a decline in product sale volumes, but the
earlier-than-projected resumption of normal operations may
change that outlook for profit decline, it said on Wednesday.
