U.S. stocks slumped in volatile trading on Friday with the tech-heavy Nasdaq
heading for its worst week since March 2020, as fears over rising borrowing
costs offset optimism about a strong economic rebound following blowout monthly
jobs report.  .N 
    At 12:19 pm ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.26% at
31,003.61. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.01% at 3,768.87 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.98% at 12,598.774.
