Contract win

Fusion Antibodies plc (AIM: FAB), a specialist in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply for therapeutic drug and diagnostic applications, announces the award of a new project covering the transient gene expression (“TGE”) of a client’s lead antibody and a subsequent cryogenic electron microscopy (“CryoEM”) study (the “TGE and CryoEM Project”) under an existing master services agreement with a US-based specialty division of a global pharmaceutical company (the “Client”). The Company has an established relationship with the Client, having recently completed a humanisation project, as announced on 28 August 2025.

Work on the TGE and CryoEM Project is expected to be completed within the current financial year. The contract represents further repeat business from a major pharmaceutical Client and supports Fusion’s strategy to increase its exposure to larger pharmaceutical companies, strengthening the quality and resilience of its revenue base. The technologically complex nature of the contract demonstrates the relevance of the Company’s specialist capabilities and supports its strategy to commercialise technologies such as OptiMAL® and microfluidic cell line development. The TGE and CryoEM Project is expected to generate revenues in excess of £85,000 for the Company.

Adrian Kinkaid, CEO of Fusion, said: “We are delighted to have secured this further project with an established pharmaceutical client, following the successful completion of our recent humanisation programme. This repeat business reflects the strength of our relationship and the value of Fusion's specialist antibody development capabilities. The award also supports our strategy of developing deeper relationships with major pharmaceutical companies, providing opportunities for further collaboration and a more diversified revenue base.

“We look forward to continuing our work together to support the development of therapeutic antibodies. The TGE and CryoEM Project demonstrates Fusion’s experience in delivering high-quality therapeutic antibody services. We are excited to further build on our ongoing relationship with our Client.”
