U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Tuesday ahead of January consumer
inflation data that could offer investors further clues on how long the Federal
Reserve will stick to its hawkish monetary policy.  .N 
    At 7:09 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.09% at 34,299. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.21% at 4,156, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up
0.34% at 12,583.5.
