Blue Diamond Retail Roll-out
Futura Medical plc (AIM: FUM), the innovative healthcare company focused on advanced transdermal technology, is pleased to announce that Blue Diamond, the Company's own brand of its novel CSD500 condom, is shortly to be distributed to more than 600 drug stores throughout the Netherlands, opening up a high street channel to complement the product's online sales.
Blue Diamond was launched online in the Netherlands in October last year by Futura's distribution partner in the region. The product's availability in-store is an encouraging step as approximately 75% of condom sales are transacted through the drug store channel in the Netherlands.
The 600 drug stores in whichBlue Diamond will be stocked are owned by two of the largest drug store chains in the Netherlands. The in-store launch of Blue Diamond will be accompanied by an advertising campaign including targeted radio advertising and in-store promotion.
