UK's Futura Medical jumps on FDA nod for OTC sale of topical gel

** Shares of Futura Medical Plc FUM.L jump as much as
35.1% to 58p, their highest since Feb. 15; stock among top pct
gainers across London shares
** Pharma company says its topical gel MED3000 to treat
erectile dysfunction granted marketing authorisation by the US
FDA for over the counter sale
** Says MED3000 can now be marketed in the US as first
topical treatment available OTC without need for a prescription
** Stock set to post best day since March 19, 2021, if trend
holds
** Stock currently up 21%, taking total gains this year to
about 3%
