ASX Trading Halt

Future Metals NL ("Future Metals" or the "Company", ASX|AIM: FME), a platinum
group metals ("PGM") focussed company, announces that its ordinary shares have
been placed in a trading halt on the Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX")
pending the release of an announcement in relation to a potential capital
raising.

The trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of an announcement to
the market regarding the above matter or the opening of trading on the ASX on
17 August 2022. The Company's ordinary shares will continue to trade as normal
on AIM during this period.

It is currently intended that any such potential capital raising will utilise
the Company's existing share capital authorities and will not be subject to
shareholder approval.  The Company confirms that no terms for any such
capital raising have been agreed and there can be no guarantee that a capital
raising will be completed.

This announcement has been approved for release by the Board of Future Metals
NL.
