Shares of Indian liquor makers fall after Karnataka hikes excise duty

** Shares of Indian liquor companies such as United Spirits
Ltd  UNSP.NS , United Breweries Ltd  UBBW.NS , G M Breweries Ltd
 GMBR.NS  and Radico Khaitan Ltd  RADC.NS  fall 3.3 pct-5.8 pct
    ** Indian state of Karnataka on Thursday hiked excise duty
on liquor by 4 pct in its fiscal 2018-19 budget
    ** United Spirits posts its biggest intraday pct fall since
March 6, while G M Breweries marks its biggest drop since June 5
    ** As of last close, United Spirits stock down 9.1 pct this
year, while Radico Khaitan, United breweries and G M Breweries
stock had risen 37.6 pct, 9.2 pct and 21.1 pct, respectively
