   preliminarily approving proposed settlement involving co 
 * Action consolidated four separate cases filed against co, units, over the 
   proposed acquisition of lca-vision, inc by co - SEC filing 
 * Says does not expect the proposed settlement to have a material impact on its 
   financial results 
 * Says believes that lca-vision inc maintains insurance that will help defray 
   the cost of the proposed settlement
