The three main U.S. stock index futures fell more than a percent
on Tuesday after the latest tariff threat on Chinese goods by
the United States escalated a trade spat between the world's two
largest economies and triggered a flight to safer assets.  .N 
    At 7:47 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 1.45 percent at
24,653. S&P 500 e-minis  ESc1  were down 1.19 percent at
2,746.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down 1.35 percent
at 7,177.75.
