This is with reference to MoPNG Letter no. CA-31022/8/2020-PNG (35574)
dated--- 23.09.2022-------- in respect of appointment of Shri Sandeep Kumar
Gupta as Chairman & Managing Director of GAIL (India) Limited. The Board
in its meeting held on 26.09.2022 approved the appointment of Shri Sandeep
Kumar Gupta (DIN 07570165) as an Additional Director of the Company with
effect from the date of his assumption of charge to the post of Chairman and
Managing Director of the Company.

 

Brief Profile of Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta is as under:

Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta currently Director (Finance), Indian Oil Corporation
Limited. He is a Commerce Graduate and a Chartered Accountant having more than
3 decades of rich work experience in the field of Finance function which
mainly includes Corporate Accounts, Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Risk
Management functions. Before taking charge as Director (Finance) of IOCL, he
was an Executive Director (Corporate Finance) and during his tenure, he
spearheaded several stakeholder-friendly initiatives like the maiden Buyback
of Shares, First Integrated Annual Report, IOCL's transition to IndAS, etc.

 

The company is taking necessary action to complete the appointment
formalities. Requisite disclosures including his date of assuming the post of
Chairman and Managing Director of the Company will be submitted in due course.
