** Drug developer's shares  GRTX.O  jumps 26% to $8.39 - on
course for their biggest pct gain in over a year 
    ** GRTX among the most traded U.S. stocks with 20.3 mln
shares exchanged by 10:30 am ET 
    ** Co says overall survival was nearly twice as long in
pancreatic cancer patients treated with its lead drug candidate,
GC4419, along with radiation therapy, vs what was observed in

    ** 29% of patients in the treatment arm achieved a 30% or
greater response vs 11% of patients in the placebo arm
    ** GC4419 is being developed for the reduction of a
radiation-induced complication called severe oral mucositis
(SOM), characterized by painful mouth sores and ulcers
    ** Co plans to report final results in H2 2021
    ** GRTX still down 17% YTD
