NOTIFICATION OF APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

 

Galliford Try, one of the UK's leading construction groups, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Michael Topham as a Non-executive Director.  The
appointment will formally commence with effect from 1 June 2023.

 

Alison Wood, Chair, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Michael to Galliford
Try as a Non-executive Director.  Michael's appointment will further
strengthen our independence and the experience of the Board.  The Board looks
forward to working with Michael."

 

On appointment Michael will also become a member of the audit, remuneration
and nomination committees.

 

 

Michael Topham's Biography

 

Michael is Chief Executive Officer of leading UK sustainable waste management
company, Biffa. He joined Biffa in 2010, was appointed Chief Financial Officer
in 2013, and subsequently became CEO in 2018.  In 2020 Michael oversaw the
launch of Biffa's first sustainability strategy. Michael is a Chartered
Accountant and Director of the Environmental Services Association (ESA).

 

There are no other disclosures required in respect of Michael Topham pursuant
to Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
