UK's Gamma falls after Waterland drops takeover offer

** Shares of Gamma Communications GAMA.L down about 2.6% at 1,095p
** Dutch private equity firm Waterland confirms that it does not intend to make an offer for Gamma 
** According to a Sunday Times report last month, Waterland planned to make an offer that exceeds the £1.08 bln ($1.43 bln) bid from Epiris, a British private equity firm
** GAMA shares up ~21.7% YTD
