    Italy's upper house Senate holds a confidence vote on a
multi-billion stimulus package (0930).

    A pool of banks will have to buy shares worth at least 400
million euros ($401 million) in the company after a cash call by
the Italian energy services firm failed to raise the 2 billion

    Cooperating with newly launched companies will help the
automaker meet its financial targets in a fast changing world,
the group's Chief Executive Carlos Tavares said as the company

    France's Societe Generale held a 5.344% stake in the Italian
insurer as of July 6, a regulatory filing by market watchdog
Consob showed on Wednesday. Out of the total stake only 0.766%
has voting rights, the majority of the investment being in
