Wall Street's main indexes slid on Tuesday, hitting one-week lows, after a
hotter-than-expected consumer inflation reading drove U.S. Treasury yields
higher, pushing back market speculations for imminent interest rate cuts.  .N 
    
    At 13:36 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was 1.71% at 38,133.46.
The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.36% at 4,953.74 and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC 
was down 1.68% at 15,675.194.
