U.S. stock index futures slid on Wednesday, with those tracking the Nasdaq 100
dropping over 1% as investors sold off megacap tech and chip shares and piled
into lagging areas of the market such as small-cap stocks.  .N 
    
    At 7:52 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.22% at 41,166. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.94% at 5,663.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
1.52% at 20,284.25.
