UK's Gattaca gains on share buyback plan

** Shares of Gattaca Plc GATC.L climb as much as 8.1% to 87p, stock set to post best day
since Feb. 10, if trend holds
** The staffing firm to make a series of share repurchases with a view to returning up to
0.5 mln pounds ($617,850) to shareholders
** Gattaca board confident that co has sufficient surplus cash available to proceed with
share buyback - co
** Adds board agreed policy to distribute 50% of post-tax profits over the cycle and will be
reviewing dividend at year end
** Including session's gains, stock has surged more than 25% YTD
($1 = 0.8093 pounds)
