U.S. stock index futures gained on Friday, a day after equities slumped on
hawkish remarks from Federal Reserve officials, while investors braced for a key
jobs report that could help shape the monetary policy outlook.  .N 
    
    At 9:05 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.14% at 38,969. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.25% at 5,210.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.38%
at 18,145.5.
